Terms of Service
I. GENERAL TERMS
● Provide any references in a concise, clear, and well-structured manner. This should feature information about every detail or characteristic that needs to be included in the final image.
● Be aware of the art guidelines, insisting on details that I am not comfortable with may result in cancellation or an unsatisfactory end result.
● Do understand I, the artist, reserve the right to turn down any request, for any reason.
II. PAYMENT
● Payment must be made in GBP only using PayPal.
● Before starting any artwork, 50% must be payed upfront. The other 50% will be payed in full upon completion. Payment may be made in full at the start if the buyer prefers.
● Full refunds may only be issued before a commission is started. Partial refunds can be organised based on the progress made.
● Refunds will always be made by the artist, do not issue your own chargeback.
III. PROCESS
● Commission requests will be added to a waiting list, place is decided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
● Progress will be sent in 2 stages for smaller pieces, and 3 for larger pieces. The first, for larger pieces, is the thumbnailes so the composition can be refined. The second is the sketch and colour-blockout phase, where details can be changed or fixed and the palette confirmed. The final stage is the finished piece for any smaller paintover adjustments. You may request small changes to the artwork within a week of it being sent.
For design pieces, there will be a full discussion on how the progress should be sent.
● The time it takes to finish your commission varies 2-8 weeks depending on the complexity of the artwork, other work in queue and availability. If there is a deadline for the artwork, let me know beforehand.
IV. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
● I will endeavour to do as much as I can to make the buyer happy with their piece.
● However, once an artwork is finished only minor changes can be made. This will include small paintover details and correcting small linework or colouring errors.
● If the references provided were unclear, or feedback wasn't provided during the appropriate stage, then any changes requested will come with an extra charge.
Being clear when providing reference is extremely important.
● The customer will be asked at the start of the commission if any details are left to artist interpretation, with adequate discussion. These details will not be altered once the commission has been started. The only exception to this is a design sheet commission.
V. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY
Artist
● I, the artist, hold every right to the produced artwork.
Therefore I'm allowed to use the copyrighted artwork; on my own social media, to promote myself, and in any other non-profit manners. I will never make further profit from commissions containing original content.Customer
● Can use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only unless agreed otherwise.
● Credit the artist fully if the artwork is shared or used publically in any way.
● Print the artwork, and claim the right of their own character(s) but not the artwork itselfThe customer may not under any circumstances:
● Remove any watermarks from the artwork
● Trace and claim the artwork as their own
● Profit in any way from the produced artwork
● Alter the piece in any way, if this is necessary then all edits must be clearly labelled when artwork is shared.
